there is a man who lives
in the river bottom in a
house on a mound so that
the flood never gets him
he taught us a chumming
technique for catching
catfish that went like
this:
1. find a freshly hit
possum or coon
2. put it on a limb that hangs
over the river
3. wait a couple days for
for the maggots to begin
falling from the carcass
into the water
4. throw your baited line
near where the maggots are raining
into water from the limb above
5. be ready to pull in some big
fish
