you're makin' my brain hurt.

I had the following conversation with a woman today. I did not make it up, and I haven't embellished.

Lady (pointing to a poster by the door): "Who is that up there on the FBI's most wanted fugitive poster? I don't recognize him."

Me: "That's Osama bin Laden"

Lady: "Who is that? I've never even heard of him."

Me: "Are you joking?"

Lady: "No, I don't know who he is."

Me (now bleeding from the ears): "He's the guy that the FBI says is responsible for the 9-11 attacks."

Lady: "What are you talking about? I didn't hear about any of this."

Me: " Planes crashed into buildings, people died. He releases tapes all the time talking about how he's going to kill us all."

Lady: "I must have missed that. I don't watch much news. My friend did tell me that Farrah Fawcett died the other day. I always admired her, she was so pretty."

The scariest part...she's allowed to drive a car. I saw her do it.
