A 90's model Cadillac pulled into the parking lot of the shop. I looked up & noticed mailbox stickers had been placed on the windshield. It read "Po Texas Boy". I was excited.
Two very old men, who may or may not have been drunk, got out. They were duded up in cowboy gear, & covered in chewing tobacco stains. The doffed their hats when I greeted them (I am a complete sucker for hat doffing). The older of the two pulled down the dobro guitar we have for sale & played a beautiful rendition of "T For Texas". He had the sort of old-timey country voice that gives me shivers. I felt like I was at an impromptu Carter Family gig. After 20 minutes of conversation & some haggling over the dobro, they left. As they pulled out of the parking lot, I realized that they had used scrap metal to create 50's style fins on the back of their Cadillac.
If you know who these men are, please let me know. I think I love them.
